This retreat is set in the Cambridgeshire countryside, positioned within three acres of garden, orchard and
paddock, Eagle Mill is an 18th Century millworker’s cottage which has had luxury
rooms added to it. The picturesque village of Houghton is quite a wonderful location and
is right on Eagle Mill’s doorstep. Houghton Mill (half a mile away) is an ancient
water mill, looked after by the National Trust.

The aim for this retreat is to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life and
your laptop. You are welcome to participate in all, some, or none of our activities.

Day only (9am – dusk) or overnight stay retreat available. You will order your brunch from the breakfast menu and book your massage slot before arriving. 

Here is a overview of the program, this is subject to change due to weather:


  • 9am – Meet & greet over coffee/tea. Discuss any medical issues with Hannah & Katie, which may prevent you doing any


  • 9.30am – StrongFit BootCamp Class with Katie & Hannah.

  • 10.30am – Yoga & Stretch Class to cool down and unwind with Hannah.

  • 11am – Brunch served in the breakfast room. Cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast, preserves and drinks will all be available for you to help yourself. Opportunity to meet, catch up and chat with our other retreaters.

  • 12.30pm – Group hike to Houghton Mill on the River Ouse, with the option of boating, canoeing or a wild swim.

  • 3pm - Return to Eagle Mill for our Smoothie Making Workshop and Nutrition Q&A with Hannah & Katie. Served with some homemade afternoon treats!

  • From 3pm – Mini massages available.

  • From 3pm – Access to your rooms available for overnight retreaters.

  • 4pm – Mindful Core Class with Katie & Hannah.

  • From 4pm - Wood-fired hot tub and bar will be open. Day only retreaters are welcome to stay until dusk.

  • 6.30pm – BBQ dinner served.

  • Accommodation guests retire to your room at your leisure.


  • 7am-9.30am - Breakfast is served

  • 11am - Check out

Katie Skipper

I started my small group PT classes for ladies only four years ago to get women moving in a happy healthy safe environment. My FFS Studio in Warboys has grown to over 50 member and keeps me constantly on the go.This retreat is

to get everyone together (including me!), whether you’re a FFS member or you
wanted to try something new with like minding ladies. This is a perfect way to get out
in the fresh air and do something different whilst being refreshed and rejuvenated.

Hannah Fitzgerald 
As a working mum and a competitive strength athlete*, with 3 chickens, 2 cats, 2
children, a dog and a husband, she she always reminded how busy life can get! This is
a great way to escape for a day for some well deserved ‘ME’ time, in a beautiful
place with some lovely ladies.
(Hannah is currently England’s Strongest U57kg Strongwomen. Yes, like you see on the TV at
Christmas with the big concrete balls! She has competed in 2 World Championships with a 3rd later
this summer, as well as National Championships in Powerlifting and Weightlifting too.)

Sonya Harkness

Hi I’m sonya and own Eagle Mill with my husband Sam, Jack our 8 year old son and two dogs Bella and Cally.

We have been running Eagle Mill, a luxury boutique B&B for the past 9 years, achieving a rating of 9.7 and above during this time with fantastic reviews.

I’m passionate about what I do and this is reflected in the luxury decor and furnishings of each room.  However, this is not my full time role.  I am also committed to branching out into new ventures and supporting local businesses.  We are delighted to form a partnership with Hannah and Katie, and are confident of having a successful event.


This day will be all about nutritious food and how to fuel your body. We aim to find fresh, locally sourced delicious ingredients and everything is cooked by the in-house chef. 

  • Tea, coffee, water and a fruit bowl will be available complimentary at Eagle Mill for you all day.

  • You will preorder your brunch from Eagle Mill’s Breakfast menu before you arrive.

  • Cereals, yoghurt, fruit, toast (Sam’s homemade sourdough is legendary), preserves and drinks available buffet style.

  • Our smoothie making workshop will allow you to design and make your own fruit (veg) smoothie. We will be serving some homemade sweet treats alongside these.

  • The bar will be open for you from after our last fitness session. All bar drinks are an additional cost.

  • You are more than welcome to stay and enjoy an evening BBQ of meat, fish and veggie skewers served alongside a selection of salads. Followed by mini desserts.

Please do not bring your own food and drinks (especially alcohol).

Please let us know when booking if you have any dietary requirements.

What should you bring:

  • Yourself, an open mind and a positive attitude

  • Swimmers for a wild swim dip/ Swimmers for the hot tub

  • Swim towel

  • Shoes to wear in the water, if you plan to swim in the river

  • Flip flops/slides for around the hot tub

  • Sun cream, sun hat

  • A refillable water bottle

  • Small bag to take on our walk

How Do I Book:

  • Full payment of your retreat is required to secure your booking.

  • Fill in the Booking Form below and we will be in touch with the link to pay.

  • If you are wishing to book a room for our Overnight Retreat, please state this in the Booking Form below and we will be in touch with the bedroom booking link from Eagle Mill.

Once your payment is made, you’ll receive our Terms and Conditions to sign, for your booking to be confirmed.


If You Cancel Your Booking:

If you need to cancel your booking, you may be issued a partial refund depending on how close your cancellation request is to the start date of the event. Below is an illustration of our refund timeline.

Booking Deposit: Your deposit is non-refundable unless Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill have cancelled or postponed your trip. 

  • Up to 90 days before departure: If you need to cancel your booking up to 90 days before the start of the retreat, we will keep your booking deposit but any other payments you have made to that date will be refunded to you.

  • Between 60 and 90 days before departure: If you need to cancel your booking between 60 and 90 days before the start of the retreat, we will retain 50% of the full cost of the retreat and refund you any payments you have made over that amount.

  • 60 days or less before departure: We do not issue refunds less than 60 days from the start of a retreat.

- Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill does not cover your transport to or from the retreat. You make your own way there.- You will not get a refund if you miss your transport or if it gets delayed.

- If you get injured Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill and the team are not liable.

- If you don’t like the accommodation Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill is not liable.  

- If the retreat isn’t what you expected Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill is not liable.

- If you lose your bags or personal possessions on the retreat Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill is not liable.

- Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill does not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, or other events beyond our control.

- Physical activities are undertaken at your own risk. Katie (FightingFitSkip), Hannah Fitzgerald or Eagle Mill are not liable for any injuries you may incur, or medical conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat.

- You acknowledge that you will voluntarily participate in our retreat with knowledge that travel involves numerous risks and dangers including, but not limited to, a risk of illness, injury or death.

- We highly recommend that you take out travel and health insurance. This should cover the activities included in the retreat, as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and any travel disruption.

- Covid-19 public health regulations - If the local public health policy prohibits gatherings and events from taking place, we will need to postpone the retreat and will notify you as soon as we have a new date. In that event, you have the option to move your booking to the next available date, or obtain a full refund from us.CleaningUses cleaning chemicals that are effective against coronavirus.Linens, towels and laundry washed in line with local authority guidelines.Guest accommodation is disinfected between stays.The accommodation partner we work with follows the guidelines of local authorities.Equipment for activities is disinfected before and/or after use.Safety featuresStaff follow all safety protocols as directed by the local government.Hand sanitizer available in key areas.Process in place to check the health of guests.First aid kit available.
