This is the perfect retreat for you to get away into the Welsh mountains for some fresh air and scenic views. With coastal and mountain walks, delicious food and fun activities to do what’s not to love!

This four-day retreat is a perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The venue is situated in the heart of the Welsh mountains in Snowdonia National Park. There is zero traffic apart from the cows and sheep and an odd tractor here and there.

This retreat will occupy 2 properties situated on the same farm, a stone throw from each other: the Cottage & the Shepherd's Hut. Both properties overlook the incredible views of Snowdonia National Park. With many quiet spaces and private spots for relaxation and reflection. There are many walks around the property that you can go and explore.

 

The cottage has a Double, Twin with en-suite, Twin, and a Family Room (Double and two single beds). 

The Shepard's Hut has a two private sleeping areas - both with a double bed.

​

The properties are a stone throw from a mountain and a 15 minute drive from the beach. It’s a fantastic area to explore what Wales has to offer.

Program

The aim for this retreat is to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of life and your laptop. Enjoy the views, the activities, the food and great company. You could either do lots of activities or sit and watch the world go by. As it’s in a fantastic location, you don’t have to do much, just sit back and relax.

I started my small group PT classes for ladies only called STRONG one year ago to get women moving in a happy healthy safe environment. This retreat is to get everyone together whether you’re a FFS member or you wanted to try something new with like minding ladies this is a perfect way to get out in the fresh air of the Welsh mountains and do something different whilst being refreshed and rejuvenated.

 

Food

During this retreat, you will be served home cooked locally sourced meals each day which is included in the price. The food is made by one of the local chefs who can cater to your needs during this retreat. The meat is supplied property owners, as they source all that meat from their own farm. The chef is dedicated to providing the best meals for the guests.

They understand that the best hospitality starts in the kitchen, and to that end, they work hard to provide top-quality meals made with care and attention. The house provides a wide variety of health-related variations to all the meals, including gluten-free, vegetarian, pescatarian, or vegan meals.

The ethos of this retreat properties is that they have a dining room (not a restaurant) and they eat the same meal together, as you would at home - hopefully achieving a sense of being together in a welcoming home, rather than a hotel or restaurant.

Once your booking is made, you’ll receive our Terms and Conditions to sign for your booking to be confirmed.

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • A reservation requires full amount. 

  • It is non-refundable, if the booking is cancelleand subject to availability. T&Cs apply. 

 

If you need to cancel your booking, you may be issued a partial refund depending on how close your cancellation request is to the start date of the retreat:

Below is an illustration of our refund timeline.

3 months - if you cancel your retreat 3 months before the retreat start date, you will receive a refund of 1/3 of the remaining balance.

​

2 months - if you cancel your retreat 2 months before the retreat start date, you will receive a refund of 2/3 of the remaining balance.

​

1 month - if you cancel your retreat 1 month or less before the retreat start date, you will not receive a refund.

T&C:

- FightingFitSkip does not cover your transport to or from the retreat. You make your own way there.

- You will not get a refund if you miss your transport or if it gets delayed.

- If you get injured FightingFitSkip and the team are not liable.

- If you don’t like the accommodation FightingFitSkip is not liable.  

- If the retreat isn’t what you expected FightingFitSkip is not liable.

- If you lose your bags or personal possessions on the retreat FightingFitSkip is not liable.

- FightingFitSkip does not accept any liability for cancellations, delays or changes caused by war, threat of war, terrorist actions or threats, closure of airports, civil strife, industrial action, natural disaster, technical problems to transport, staff cancellations, or other events beyond our control.

- Physical activities are undertaken at your own risk. FightingFitSkip are not liable for any injuries you may incur, or medical conditions which may develop during or subsequent to the retreat. 

- You acknowledge that you will voluntarily participate in our retreat with knowledge that travel involves numerous risks and dangers including, but not limited to, a risk of illness, injury or death.

- We highly recommend that you take out travel and health insurance. This should cover the activities included in the retreat, as well as unexpected cancellation, sickness, losses and any travel disruption. 

- Covid-19 public health regulations - If the local public health policy prohibits gatherings and events from taking place, we will need to postpone the retreat and will notify you as soon as we have a new date. In that event, you have the option to move your booking to the next available date, or obtain a full refund from us.

Cleaning

  • Uses cleaning chemicals that are effective against coronavirus.

  • Linens, towels and laundry washed in line with local authority guidelines.

  • Guest accommodation is disinfected between stays.

  • The accommodation partner we work with follows the guidelines of local authorities.

  • Equipment for activities is disinfected before and/or after use.

Safety features

  • Staff follow all safety protocols as directed by the local government.

  • Hand sanitizer available in guest rooms and key areas.

  • Process in place to check the health of guests.

  • First aid kit available.
